Meet Gail

The core of everything I’ve done in my adult life has been about helping people, from my very first job as a Bell Telephone Operator to my career as a Realtor, plus the other endeavors that I’m a part of.

My upbringing was not vanilla, nor what I considered normal, which as a young girl, I wasn’t happy about, but as it turns out, it was the start of my curiosity of human behavior and thought processes.

My mom was a Registered Nurse and my dad was a Truck Driver. They both had jobs with odd hours. We didn’t live in a neighborhood, so I didn’t have any friends close by. I met my first real friend, Sarah, when I was nine years old. She lived down the street, so I saw her often. She and I are still the closest of friends almost six decades later.

My parents were not an example of a loving couple.

I believe there was love once but, because of many struggles, their relationship became one of tolerance, not warmth and love.

I met my first husband when I was nineteen and married at twenty-two. I had no life experience outside of my home with the exception of a one month trip through Europe with my friend, Sarah. My husband was not gentle or kind, while I was learning how to cook, clean and be on my own, away from my parents. Tension built and two children and sixteen and a half years later, I left him.

I learned resilience. I learned tenacity. I learned how to deal with people, some difficult, through listening with empathy, understanding and yet never compromising my values and individuality.

As much as I learned during that time, little did I know I had more to learn. That lesson was in my second marriage which ended in divorce due to a husband who found someone else more interesting and choose the “friendship” over the marriage. My decision to leave him came after almost two years of trying to win him back. I came to realize that I was not valuing myself in that situation.

For the last seven years, I have been living my true, authentic self.

My life’s passion is focused on sharing my sage advice in order to give power and value to those who want to be their true, authentic self and live their best life.
